All our study programmes have different admission requirements. Your Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate, Transcript of records, or a completed degree from a public or officially recognized university/higher education institution is mandatory for your application at IU.
We have sent you more detailed information by email. You can easily download the created study contract in contract section below.

To enable you to study with us, let us help you attach all the correct documents under the right categories! For example: simply select the "Upload your CV" option to attach your CV, "Upload proof of English proficiency" for your English certificate, and so on. Remember, upload only one document per category. In case you have attached a wrong document to a category, then you can delete that file by clicking on the red symbol “X“. Once you have deleted the file, click the selected category one more time and upload the correct document. Before you click the "Upload your documents" button, please check if all your documents have been attached to the right categories. It's that simple!

Upload proof of English proficiency *

Depending on where you are from you might need to provide proof of English language skills before the start of studies. We accept the following English language skills certificates (no older than 5 years): 

  • English B2 level certificate 
  • TOEFL (minimum 80 points) or 
  • IELTS (minimum Level 6) or 
  • Cambridge Certificate (minimum Grade B) or 
  • Equivalent proof, e.g. Speexx B2.2 Certificate (through the free IU English course) - further information can be requested from our student advisors. 
  • Duolingo English test (min. 105 points, not older than 5 years): This can be completed anywhere and at any time via smartphone and costs $49. Prospective students can obtain further information on the Duolingo test directly from the Student Advisory Service.

Upload highest academic certificate

Upload a copy of your high school leaving diploma or bachelor’s degree certificate. If you don’t have this, then submit something equivalent like subject-related higher education entrance qualification. 

Depending on your country of residence, you might need to fulfill extra criteria, including passing a university entrance examination. Your personal study advisor will inform you of the exact requirements by call or email.

3. Next Steps

1. Complete Application & First Payment

Submit all required documents for review by our team. Once all your documents have been reviewed and approved, you’ll receive the confirmation letter. Finalize your application by paying the first month rate of your online studies.

2. Starting Your Studies Online

Upon receiving  your login credentials to myCampus system, your first month is a trial. You can cancel your studies at any time during that month and get refunded. Admissions team will issue your Admission Letter for your visa. 

3. Finish Your Studies On Campus

To switch: Sort your visa (if needed) and accommodation, and prepare for your new exciting chapter! You also need to inform the Student Office through myCampus to choose your preferred Intake and pay the €500 Hybrid Registration Fee.
