On 1 September 2000, the very first 23 students began their studies at IU International University of Applied Sciences – a moment that marked the beginning of a journey we proudly celebrate today. What began as a small academic institution called IUBH in Bad Honnef has since grown into Germany’s largest university, now named IU International University of Applied Sciences, with English-taught on-campus programmes in Berlin.
Under the theme “25 Years of Education for Everyone,” we honour a core belief that has guided us from the very beginning: education for all – regardless of where you come from, what drives you, or where your path leads.
