From October 2026, all students from Bad Honnef will have the opportunity to continue their studies in the Campus Studies format at IU’s Cologne campus locations.
Campus Studies combines face-to-face teaching, structured semester schedules and on-campus learning in an international study environment designed to support your academic and professional goals.

Campus Studies offers a more structured and campus-based study experience while allowing you to continue your academic journey at IU.
On-campus teaching
Benefit from more face-to-face lectures, direct interaction with lecturers and collaborative learning with classmates on campus.
Structured semester format
Courses are organised within semester schedules with fixed teaching and assessment periods.
Mandatory attendance
Selected modules include a mandatory attendance requirement of at least 60% in order to participate in assessments.
Fixed assessment phases
Exams and assignment submissions take place during centrally scheduled assessment periods.
Continued recognition of completed courses
All successfully completed modules and ECTS credits will continue to be recognised within your new study format.
