kreatives Lernen von zu Hause

Regardless of where you are, or how you like to study, our myCampus digital learning platform is equipped with all the tools you need to ace your studies. We take special care to make our programmes accessible and flexible, and myCampus was designed with those two factors in mind.

Use the materials wherever and whenever you want, at your own pace and as much as you need. myCampus is the distance learning platform where you’ll book your courses, see your exam results, get news about career and study coaching events, get in touch with your tutors and manage your entire study schedule.

In addition to all of the videos, e-books, and virtual libraries the digital education platform offers, you’ll also receive free access to the full MS Office suite for the entire duration of your studies – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams – so you’ll have everything you need to ace your studies with ease.

Manage your week with the calendar

The hardest part of being a student is time management. With so many different responsibilities in your life, it’s hard to keep track of what needs to be done and everything that’s going on.

That’s why myCampus has a clear calendar function, that details all the events that take place on a weekly and monthly basis.

From career talks to Q&A sessions with your tutors, all the events you wouldn’t want to miss are automatically added to your calendar. You can choose what you want to attend – there’s no pressure.

You’ll never miss an important update or event, and always stay up to date.

All your documents at the tip of your fingers

Dealing with bureaucracy can be a headache, but it doesn’t have to be that way. With myCampus, you get easy access to any document or application form you need for your studies.

You have full control of your schedule and workload – and can easily keep track of your documents, too.

This feature lets you handle all the time-consuming tasks of being a student, without the hassle and in a fraction of the time it would take you at a traditional university.

Need a certificate that confirms you’re a student, or to apply for a change in your study programme? You’ll find everything under Application Management.

Book any course you like

Each of our study programmes comes with a recommended syllabus, detailing which courses we suggest you take during each semester.

But when it comes to online studies, that’s just a recommendation. You have complete freedom to choose which courses you want to take and when.

Want to work on six courses at the same time? Sure. Prefer to finish anything math-related before moving on to other topics? Go for it!

With myCampus, you can easily access and book any of the courses in your study programme, and take them whenever you like. You have complete flexibility and control

Register for your exams whenever you’re ready

Yes, at IU you can take exams anywhere and at any time – it really is up to you! You control your own schedule, and that means the final exam of each course, too. Simply book your exam date via myCampus, whenever you’re ready to complete a course.

Unlike other online degree programmes, your degree at IU can be done entirely remotely. You’ll never need to come to campus, unless you want to attend the graduation ceremony.

Thanks to our partnership with a well-known online examination provider, your exams can be done from anywhere, if you have an internet connection, a webcam, and a laptop.

The exams are supervised and monitored, so it’s just like taking an exam at any other university, except you don’t have to get dressed or spend hours on traveling to and from the university.

Get answers to all your questions

Being an online student means having complete control of your time. That’s what you expect and that’s what you get from us.

But what happens if you need help or have a question at 4am on a Saturday night? You shouldn’t have to wait and break up your schedule.

That’s why myCampus has an FAQ section that’s loaded with replies to the most common queries we’ve been getting from our students over the last 10+ years of offering online education.

We believe you’ll find the answer to almost any question you might have there, so you can study with a clear head, and not sacrifice your flexibility or independence.

Can’t find an answer to your question? Our study coaches, tutors and Student Office advisors are all available to help.

Control your schedule and workload

Each course you register for will be added to your digital education platform dashboard and have its own mini-site on the platform.

Through the mini-site, you’ll have access to everything relating to the course: the professor’s details, the tutor’s contact information for any questions you might have, the reading list and the course book, which you can either download or access via the IU Learn App.

The mini-site is also where you’ll see all the events and updates related to the course, and any additional files that you can use when building your study plan: slides, practice exams, interactive lectures, or podcasts – depending on the course.

Join the live tutorials and Q&A sessions to interact with your tutor and meet your fellow students. It’s a great place to form study groups, exchange tips and practice your networking skills.
