As of 15.11.2023, we are offering the study program Digital Business in a modified, re-accredited form. This means that some study contents have been changed. Of course, the currently accredited study program also meets the current market requirements. So, you can always ensure that your know-how meets the latest standards.    

You can look at the new module handbook and study schedule. You can still enroll in the currently accredited study program until 14.11.2023.

While developing our study contents, we aim to meet the highest scientific degree of actuality and design our modules as practice-oriented. Therefore, at the beginning of a re-accredited study program, some modules are still developing. These are available according to the semester planning of the study schedule. The Digital Business BA programme is designed to give you a complete understanding of business administration, computer science principles, and topics at the forefront of business development: data analytics and big data, business intelligence, agile project management, digital business models, corporate planning and simulation, introduction to low-code development, seminar in current topics in digitalization and cloud computing. 

After you have completed a series of courses covering the fundamentals of digital business, you’ll have the opportunity to choose from different areas like Marketing, Programming, Software & Data Engineering or many more.

Entry requirements

You can start your desired study programme at IU International University of Applied Sciences if you meet the requirements. 

The admissions documents must be provided in English or German; a translation is required if not issued in one of these two languages required. If you need to translate your documents, we can help by referring you to our trusted translation partners. You can find more details here.

General academic requirements

  • Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate such as A-Levels or IB Diploma and your transcript of records.
  • A subject-related higher education entrance qualification.

Depending on your qualifications, you might have to meet additional requirements, such as successfully passing a university entrance examination or one of the following programmes to make sure you are ready to study with us:

Online Study models & fees for your Bachelor degree in Digital Business

On campus study model and fees for your Bachelor degree in Digital Business

Depending on your personal or professional circumstances, you may wish to complete your studies as quickly as possible, or you may prefer a more flexible study programme that is less time-consuming. That’s why we offer part-time options for all our study programmes. This allows you to study alongside professional or personal commitments. We adjust your study fees based on your chosen time model.

Are you unable to finish your programme within the given time? No problem! If you realise that you need more time, you can simply switch to another time model with one months’ notice before the end of the month.

No registration or administration fees are charged when you apply for studying – you’ll only be charged once your studies have started, and the trial month has ended.

Your trial month begins when you receive your login credentials. This will give you the opportunity to test our courses for one month without obligation, before being charged. During that month, you can then take your first courses and start learning right away!

Once the trial month is over, your studies continue. You’ll pay your tuition fees according to your contract.

At IU, we believe in full transparency – so there are no hidden fees. You only pay for your tuition and the one-time campus registration fee of €1,500.

No registration or administration fees are charged when you apply for studying – you'll only be charged once your studies have started. If you won't be admitted to a programme because you do not meet the admission requirements, no fees will be charged.
